[ when kazunari rings the bell, he only waits for a moment or two before shadows coalesce beside the desk, and out pops aquila! they are sporting a pair of pitch black wings that sprout from their back, and have foregone the gloves; instead, their hands are the same pitch black, and they've got the origami eagle held carefully between clawed fingers. ]

[ they don't seem to mind at all! and to kazunari's question, they cock their head. one of the wings comes up and extends out some, enough that they can look at it out of the corner of their eye, and so kazunari can get a closer look if he wants one. ]
As for these things... I mean, I'm supposed to be an eagle, if the stories the others were telling me's true. Who knows, though! Saw somebody that looked like a dragon, earlier. Think these things really don't stick that much to reality, so I wouldn't overthink it.

You know, I'm not really sure? They drew the shapes in the sky based on their myths and stuff, so they probably just thought the shape was close enough.
Your feathers do have that iridescent look crows have... I almost wish I could paint it. It's a pretty cool look!
